  • Totem - Breakfast place with lots of options right in the middle of downtown Mazatlán, has a really nice rooftop area

  • Ricos - Breakfast right by the beach. Lots of breakfast options and really good coffee

  • Allegros - Right in downtown Mazatlán. Cute, little place that has traditional Mexican and American breakfast options

  • Marde Fondo - Seafood restaurant with really good ceviche, tacos and more

  • Tacos Playa Sur - Sinaloa style tacos, really good quesadillas

  • Nao - Asian fusion with Mexican regional accents, really good upscaled dishes

  • MAWE- Vegan restaurant with lots of options, very close to Plazuela Machado

  • Hectors Bistro - Modern European bistro, everything is made in house

  • Hana Poke - Fresh poke bowls with lots of options

Activities

  • Malecon - Malecon is the oceanfront boardwalk. Mazatlán has the longest Malecon in the world, Ari and I like renting bikes or rollerblades at Baikas and going from one end to the other!

  • El Faro (Lighthouse) - The lighthouse of Mazatlán is just a few miles from downtown Mazatlán and any taxi or pulmonia can get you there. A fun hike up the natural landscape that ends with a beautiful view and a zipline that goes over the Pacific Ocean at the top

  • Beaches - Mazatlán has tons of different beaches. Olas Altas is the one closest to downtown and is a very chill, local beach. For more a calmer beach, the zona dorada beach is really nice with tiny waves for any age

  • BRVO - Cocktail bar with a small food menu

  • Tres Islas - Artisanal beer made in Mazatlán with lots of options for beer
